Will my dog fit in a K9 Sport Sack® carrier?
With a wide range of sizes and adjustability options the K9 Sport Sack® fits most small dogs, however, it is critical that the correct size is selected for your particular pup based on exact height/length measurements and not by breed or approximations. Please review our Sizing Page to ensure that you have the correct fit for the safest experience possible.
How do I train my dog to get in the K9 Sport Sack®?
There is no one perfect method to train your dog to use the K9 Sport Sack® but we have included a few key examples on our How to Use page. In short, we have put over 30,000 dogs in our carriers and the more we practiced, the more dogs seemed to like being put in. Whatever method you and your dog settle on, DON'T GIVE UP! Use our Hints and Tricks and always remember to contact us for additional help or time to train your dog. It will be worth it!
Is it veterinarian approved?
Yes! When creating the original K9 Sport Sack®, our primary concern was the safety and long-term health of our own dog, Daisy. Because of that, we took that model to our local vet and had him go over the ergonomics with a fine tooth comb.
Is the K9 Sport Sack® Washable?
Yes! We recommend turning the bag inside out, removing the rigid back plate if you have the Knavigate carrier, and using a gentle cycle. Hang dry afterwards.

How will my items be shipped in the U.S.?
K9 Sport Sack® uses a variety of UPS shipping methods for all domestic orders over 1 lb. Please allow for 1-2 days of packaging before your item ships, 2-5 days if ordering a waterproofed or custom item.
- UPS SurePost (2-7 business days, may be delivered via UPS or local post office)
- UPS Ground (2-5 business days)
- UPS 2nd Day (Allow 1 business day for packaging plus 2 business days)
- UPS Next Day (Allow 1 business day for packaging plus 1 business day)
Items under 1 lb. are shipped via USPS First Class.
Shipping labels for orders are created between 7-11am MST Mondays-Fridays. Weekend orders will be processed the following Monday. If you need a package to be shipped same day, please call our customer support at 385.515.8908 and we will do all we can to help.
How will my items be shipped internationally?
K9 Sport Sack® uses USPS or UPS for international orders and shipping times can vary from 2-5 weeks or 3-5 days depending on the method chosen at checkout.
- International orders are subject to import taxes, customs, duties, and brokerage fees. Your order may be held by your customs office until fees are paid. In these cases K9 Sport Sack® is not responsible for collecting/charging these fees. Therefore, it is the duty of the customer to be aware of charges that may occur at the time of delivery/pickup for imported goods. If a package is refused for this reason a refund will not be issued until and if the package is returned to K9 Sport Sack®.
- K9 Sport Sack® is not responsible for any delays in the shipment caused by invalid addresses, carrier delays, or custom duties/ taxes. If a delay does occur please contact your local post office or the carrier it was shipped with to find out more information.
If you are ordering internationally, it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with your country's import and customs fees. You will likely be subject to these charges that are imposed and controlled by your country and not by K9 Sport Sack®. Therefore, K9 Sport Sack® will not pay for, supplement or otherwise be responsible for customs charges. Any order that is returned because of refused customs charges will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
How quickly will my order ship?
Products in stock ship within 1-2 business days. Orders with custom products can take up to 5 business days. Order notifications and tracking information are sent to the e-mail on file after check-out. If your item is backordered, you will receive an order notification after check-out indicating the status of your order, periodic updates on fulfillment status and a shipping notification when your order has shipped.
