Quality is fantastic but she’s 17” and I should have gotten the medium size as this one is a bit too exact/tight on here length. I am ordering the next size cause it’s a great design and function.

We started out with a smaller model that was uncomfortable for both my husband and I- we have wide shoulders. Support recommended we switch to the Knavigate. The team made the swap super easy. The Knavigate fits all of us perfectly. Schatzi our Dachshund loves it and we can take her comfortably on longer hikes. Has a big enough pocket to fit all her things in addition to a lot of ours. I would highly recommend!!
Schatzi weighs 12lbs and is 15” long. She fits in a Small.

We just received the small for our Cavapoo. I ordered the spacer (booster seat); she is just a puppy, and it worked perfectly. She didn't resist a bit on the second attempt to get her into the pack. It has been some fantastic bonding time so far.
I am looking forward to our adventures.

My dachshund becomes a happy hotdog when he sees this pack, and I am easily able to get him in and go for adventures. People remark on the cuteness of the backpack all the time. Safe, secure, and love the little vent openings now that we have a little spring weather here and there.

This is a great backpack! The weight distribution is perfect on my back. It doesn’t feel like it pulls on my shoulders like most packs do. My dog is in a comfortable position as well. I love the space under her too! Perfect for food, leash, etc. Ruby is 12.5 pounds and is a perfect fit in the small size.

This was exactly what I needed to help keep the weight (23lbs) off my shoulders a little bit compared to standard backpacks. When on a leash, my dog gets overwhelmed walking in noisey places or when a bunch of people walking near us. With this MEDIUM size carrier, I could maneuver this little dog wherever I wanted and he seemed to be able to feel safe and comfortable.
Shiba dogs are not very tall, but have longer bodies to where you likey will want to make sure you have them strapped in enough where they don't slide left or right side of your back. Their necks are a little longer than other dogs out there so mine was secure though was able to see in all directions when he wanted. We used this Knavigate sack to take our dog out to San Francisco, walked around town for hours. I was not sure of how my dog's rear legs might get fatigued while riding in this carrier or maybe rubbing on his front legs, but he seemed to get a little squirmy after 4 hours. Now, TBH, I am not sure if he got restless or if it was discomfort. We did take little breaks here and there yet I recommend taking 2 hour stretch breaks with your dog to make sure they are doing okay. I think having them on your back for the first time is best when you are with another person who can watch your dogs face/behavior to see if they are handling it well or if maybe they need some adjustments. I had wondered at first about what postion the front legs should be in (at shoulder, or knee?), but it may just depend on the dog. I noticed my dog would move them around. The only other thing I might say to watch out for is the tail position when you strap them in. I tried to leave a little room for his tail to shift if needed. The best way I could get my dog in the sack was to have it laying on the ground (Unzipped and open) and make them sit on the back part. Then, you can pull front paws through the 2 holes. Easier to do this with 2 people. If you are having to push your dogs upper half down hard to get that zipper going up, you may need to buy the bigger size bag. I think I started with Small but ended up getting a Medium.
This was fun, and I think because I am taller people were seeing a dog at eye level unexpectedly, so it was catching people's attention and smiles.
Thanks for letting exchange my first order and helping me get the right size @K9SportSack!

I like the pack but not sure what the two velcro strips are for?

Thank you again for your great service for me as a international Customer, you didn’t hesitate to find a very good solution. The new knavigate arrived and fits Perfect. We just had the First bike Ride and Bo Loves to look forward over my shoulder. The size M is more comfortable for me too, so two happy faces ;)
In Summer We will Discovery sardinia, of course with the knavigate!

Omg this bag is awsome. This bag is well made also the staff here are top notch any issues they fix immediately. I will be definitely using this company again thanks for all you do

I have a 10 week old puppy and I got the pad that goes under his feet. He absolutely loves the pack and we are excited about our adventures to come!

I cannot wait to take little Fanny in her book bag loving called her "franny pack"
Bike rides, hikes, long walks etc. Very good construction and love the color. The velcro leather patch is great with the color and is also high quality. We did get the bucket hat but her silly ears are basically on the side of her head and not out the top, so it does not work for us.
If you're debating getting this, don't. Measure twice, buy once! 🐶 🎒

I didn't think my dog would take to the backpack but with lots of treats it was actually super easy. She will see me go for the backpack and she gets super excited. It does take practice to get your dog in the backpack properly but once you have a technique, its simple. I always wanted something that would allow me to carry my dog because she doesn't love hiking or long walks like I do but I wanted her with me, and all the other carries I've tried were super uncomfortable for her or myself. This backpack makes it easy for both of us to be comfortable and I really enjoy the hip belt as it keeps the weight evenly distributed throughout my upper body instead of just my shoulder/neck. I love it! And dog approved :)

Now our corgs can go literally everywhere. Fantastic customer service as well!

Loved it! My dog was weary comfortable in it and Carrier is really, well-made and comfortable for me

We have been using the Plus and Air styles but one of our Frenchies has outgrown our current packs. We decided to upgrade to the beast because carrying a 30 pound dog in the other carriers really do a number on our backs. This knavigate really helps disperse some of the weight better. We like the added belt support for us as well as the extra storage under the pack. Sizing is consistent with the Air and Plus. We just needed to add the foam booster to this because he is just a hair too short in this one, but too chonky to zip the smaller size. We absolutely love these packs!
